Retail Service Writer with C&D Tires. We are a locally owned, critical industry service center and tire distribution facility. We service domestic, import, passenger, commercial, and diesel vehicles.

Job Description:  As a Retail Service Writer you will be responsible for answering phones, greeting customers, collecting information, performing research, working with mechanics to provide estimates, logging all repair work performed, invoicing the customers, and collecting payment, as well as maintaining store cleanliness among other responsibilities.

Job Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have excellent customer service, verbal, written, and phone communication skills. General automotive knowledge is strongly preferred. Must be detail-oriented, capable of multi-tasking and handling numerous requests at a time.

Job Type: Full time hourly with required overtime.

Shift Type: Monday – Saturday day shift. Closed Sunday.

Work Environment: Retail environment. Basic computer and internet skills. High volume incoming calls. Constant standing, walking, and the occasional lifting of 40 lbs or more.

Required experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year retail experience.
• Valid driver license
• General automotive repair or service writing experience strongly preferred.

Salary: Based on experience. $13 - $14 hourly.

On-boarding / Training period: 3 months.
